Skills Inventory Survey

October 23, 2017

Dear Community Member,

Re: Skills Inventory Survey Introduction Letter

The purpose of this Skills Inventory Survey Introduction Letter is to confirm that ____________ is conducting a skills inventory survey of the community members on behalf of Enaadmaagehjik Wikwemikong Development Commission.
Wikwemikong Unceded Territory is conducting Labour Market Needs Assessment and Labour Market Strategy. Our objectives are to establish our employer labour market needs and the skills that presently exist in the community. The survey is designed to collect information from local employers on HR issues, such as labour turnover, hard-to-fill positions, recruitment difficulties, current and future skill shortages, as well as issues in training and education practices.
Besides the Labour Market Needs Assessment survey, we have decided to ask our community members to complete a Skills Inventory Survey. The Skills Inventory Survey will allow us to match the employers labour force skills requirements with our existing skills or to implement training to meet the labour market needs requirements.
The Skills Inventory Survey will also request your contact information. The contact information would be to communicate with you if there are employment or training opportunities that could be of interest to you. Your contact information would not be released to third parties unless you agree that it be provided.
We hope that you will take the time to complete the WUIR Labour Market Needs Assessment Skills Inventory Survey with our surveyor.

Thank you for your collaboration.

Mary Lynn Odjig
General Manager
Enaadmaagehjik Development Commission
